Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking a Logistics Manager to drive daily store operations, lead logistics, merchandising, and receiving with a focus on inventory flow and safety. You will analyze performance and implement improvements while balancing staffing and payroll to ensure peak store performance.

The role requires strong leadership, coaching abilities, and the capacity to work with Store Director to align priorities and achieve sales targets in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience in retail preferred.
• Experience leading departments of up to 40 team members while driving operational excellence and achieving targets.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with ability to develop people.
• Ability to interpret operational and financial data and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Drive the day-to-day operational rhythm to support a seamless customer experience.
• Lead logistics, merchandising, and receiving with emphasis on inventory flow, safety and execution excellence.
• Analyze performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement productivity solutions.
• Balance workforce planning, scheduling, training, and payroll while maintaining standards.
• Collaborate with Store Director and other leaders to align priorities and drive store performance.
