Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead the day-to-day store operations, focusing on inventory flow, accuracy, safety, and execution excellence. You will drive logistics, receiving, and merchandising with district partners to translate corporate strategy into in-store results.

You'll analyze performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and balance workforce planning, scheduling, training, and payroll while coaching a team of up to 40 associates to achieve sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience.
• Demonstrated success leading departments of up to 40 team members while driving operational excellence and achieving sales targets.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop people.
• Solid business acumen with the ability to interpret operational and financial data.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with inventory systems, order processing, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily logistics, merchandising, and receiving operations to ensure inventory accuracy, safety, and execution excellence.
• Plan and execute workforce scheduling, training, and payroll to meet standards.
• Collaborate with store leadership and district/regional partners to drive performance and improvements.
• Translate corporate strategy into in-store results and measurable outcomes.
