Job summary

SNIPES in Harper Woods, MI is seeking an entry-level Manager in Training to fully support store staff and operations when the Store Manager is absent. This role emphasizes leadership, sales growth, and strong customer service.

You will help communicate goals, monitor performance, and ensure merchandise presentation aligns with company standards while supporting daily store activities and promotional execution.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership in driving sales and profitability by achieving or exceeding all established store and individual goals.
• Assist Store Manager/Assistant Manager with communicating store goals and directives to maximize team contributions.
• Monitor and evaluate performance: sales volume, hourly production, UPTs, charge accounts, and loss prevention.
• Demonstrate leadership to assist Store Manager in managing store staff.
• Ensure timely execution and compliance of floor set guides and promotions.
• Direct and maintain merchandise presentation per Visual Merchandising standards.
• Understand customer needs and how merchandise meets them.
• Coordinate markdowns and transfers to support sales plan.
• Ensure cleanliness standards in store and stockroom.
