Job summary

Hannaford Supermarkets in Vermont seeks a Management Trainee to prepare for store leadership. You will oversee store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and support financial and sales goals while building strong customer and associate relations.

This role requires a college degree or retail management experience, strong merchandising knowledge, and the ability to lead a team. You will promote Hannaford's culture and ensure effective communication across the store as you progress

Qualifications

• College degree or Retail Management experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of store operations and total store merchandising techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and use technical information to solve problems.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that meets business needs.
• National Registry of Food Safety Professionals credential or ability to obtain Certified Food Safety Manager within 90 days.
