84 Lumber Company is seeking a Manager Trainee for a full-time, entry-level path designed to prepare you for leadership within the store. The program provides hands-on training across store operations with the potential for promotion to management within 6–12 months, depending on performance and openings.

No experience is required to begin your career at 84 Lumber. Expect structured training across sales, operations, blueprint reading, forklift safety, and business management, with relocation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; full-time availability (48+ hours/week, overtime included)
• No prior experience required to begin your career at 84 Lumber.
• Willingness to relocate for a management position within the company

Responsibilities

• Sales and Customer Service: Support customers and drive sales in a retail store environment.
• Store Operations and Inventory Management: Oversee material/supply chain flow, stock, and merchandising.
• Blueprint Reading and Estimation: Create material estimates for building projects.
• Forklift Operation and Certification: Safe handling of materials and equipment.
• Business Management: Payroll, invoicing, inventory, and financial analysis.
• Microsoft Office Suite: Training to enhance and refine your skills
