Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a Store Manager Trainee in Watertown, WI, to lead daily store operations and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.

You'll rotate through duties from stocking and merchandising to customer service while learning district leadership expectations, store standards, and compliance. This paid trainee program offers hands-on leadership experience, industry-leading training, and clear growth opportunities within ALDI.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience and prior management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports and leads store personnel.
• Develops action plans using company-provided resources to improve operating results.
• Oversees resolution of employee and customer concerns with the district manager as needed.
• Interviews candidates for store positions and provides recommendations to the district manager.
• Manages personnel including advancement and termination considerations.
• Ensures compliant interactions with customers, associates and vendors.
• Leads and supervises the team to drive sales and high performance.
• Ensures execution of company strategy and modeling of core values.
