Sun Tan City in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Salon Director in Training to drive store performance and deliver exceptional client service. You will supervise tanning consultants, coach staff, and lead by example to achieve productivity goals and maintain operational excellence.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, sales drive, and the ability to manage a busy salon while delivering a positive customer experience. This is a full-time opportunity with growth potential within Glow Brands.

Qualifications

• Management or sales experience required in a retail setting.
• Beauty industry and/or customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word/Excel/Outlook) needed.
• Ability to lead, coach and mentor a team in a fast-paced store.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills are essential.
• Capable of building teams and delegating tasks effectively.
• Fluent in prioritization to meet targets and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example to deliver a client-centric experience and hit sales goals.
• Maintain a clean, professional salon and high service standards.
• Set clear team goals and provide coaching to improve performance.
• Generate reports, manage inventory, and support salon leadership.
• Assist with controlling revenue and labor costs while maintaining staffing.
• Work nights and weekends; 5-day weeks may be required.
