Sun Tan City is seeking a Salon Director in Training to drive store performance, deliver exceptional client service, and maintain operational excellence. The role will supervise Tanning Consultants and lead by example in daily operations.

With strong retail or management experience, you will coach staff, manage schedules, monitor inventory, and help achieve revenue goals while delivering a friendly client experience. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role with growth across Glow Brands.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience required.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills.
• Ability to coach and mentor staff.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced setting.
• Lead by example in client-centric service and sales.
• Maintain a clean, professional salon environment.
• Set goals for team members and track progress.
• Coach, train and provide feedback to improve performance.
• Assist with inventory and sales reporting; support director duties.
• Maintain staffing levels to optimize productivity and control labor costs.
• Work nights and weekends; 5-day weeks at ~35–45 hours.
