Job summary

Hannaford is seeking a management trainee to oversee store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and to support all duties of store operations to meet financial and sales goals. You will build strong associate and customer relations and promote Hannaford's culture across the organization.

Responsibilities include effective communication with management and staff, leadership of the team, and continuous learning of multiple tasks and systems that drive performance and safety standards

Qualifications

• College degree or retail management experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; strong customer service.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Available to work a schedule that meets business needs.
• Accredited food safety professional or able to achieve within 90 days.
• Accreditation must be maintained while employed.
