Job summary

Skechers, the Comfort Technology Company®, seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead a team, manage inventory, and elevate customer service. You will drive daily store performance, mentor staff, and execute visual merchandising strategies to reflect our brand. The role offers growth within Skechers’ global network and competitive pay.

Starting rate is $17.91 per hour with a range up to $19.00. This on-site position emphasizes leadership, operations, and sales management in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Retail, restaurant, or hospitality leadership experience preferred but not required.
• Sales skills to drive revenue growth and meet targets.
• Excellent communication skills in written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age at time of application.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales management goals and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers' standards for style and innovation.
• Monitor stock levels, restock, and organize the sales floor for a seamless shopping experience.
• Oversee scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and daily store operations; lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Drive revenue growth by implementing performance strategies and exceeding sales goals.
• Address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns to maintain satisfaction.
