Qualifications

• The internship is designed for students currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program.
• Ability to work flexible shifts to gain exposure to the full operation of the store.
• Past leadership responsibilities in work or extracurricular activities are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members.
• Support department in achieving sales, maintaining shrink, and managing the P&L.
• Model exceptional, fast and friendly customer service.
• Mentor and coach team members to ensure service goals are met and Meijer standards are maintained.
• Spend the majority of time within the store communicating with customers and team members.
