Job summary

PLS Logistics Service in Houston, TX is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, deliver outstanding customer service, and help meet store objectives. You will support the Store Manager, supervise team members, and ensure policy compliance.

Candidates should have at least one year of management experience in retail or service industries, strong communication, and the ability to engage customers. English fluency is required; bilingual a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of management experience in hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant.
• Ability to engage with customers and develop positive relationships.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor; honest with integrity.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• English fluency required; English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining exemplary customer service within the store and building relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
• Establishing a strong customer service culture within the store.
• Assisting the Store Manager in implementing strategies to meet store goals and objectives.
• Recruiting, developing, and motivating store team members who exceed expectations.
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Supervising CSR activities in the Store Manager's absence and handling transactions and cash procedures.
