Job summary

The Finish Line, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager/Supervisor to lead daily store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will motivate and manage a team, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and drive sales performance across promotions and merchandising. Responsibilities include inventory control, staff development, and maintaining brand standards while ensuring health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role, with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Customer-Centric: A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
• Minimum Requirements (Assistant Store Manager): Open availability, including availability during early mornings to close, weekdays and weekends.
• Physical Demands: Prolonged standing, peak periods, lifting 5–25 lbs, etc.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; 2+ years’ experience in retail leadership strongly preferred.
