Job summary

Walmart Auburn, IN is seeking a Store Leader to drive store performance and develop teams in a dynamic retail environment. You will oversee operations, manage budgets, and lead change initiatives while ensuring exceptional customer service and a strong community presence.

The role emphasizes supervisory experience, leadership, and training skills, with a focus on achieving sales goals and delivering a high quality shopping experience in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates.
• Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing PL statements and managing budgeting and expenses.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and setting expectations.
• Coordinates job-related activities by building relationships with key stakeholders and supporting plans and initiatives.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and promotes a culture of integrity and belonging.
