Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations and customer service. You will help organize, stock, and display merchandise and assist in leading store associates with daily tasks. Strong communication and leadership are essential to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior store management experience. You will support opening/closing procedures and help with payroll, scheduling, and loss

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Store management experience in retail, grocery, or similar setting preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
Ability to train and develop store associates.
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.

Responsibilities

Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
Provide excellent customer service and address questions or concerns.
Transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling processes.
