The Senior Store Leader is responsible for ensuring the store operates smoothly, providing excellent customer service during all hours of operation. The role involves coaching, supervising, and leading the team to meet customer needs, from busy mornings to late-night hours, ensuring each customer receives a smile and quality service.

Job Description

  • Experience Required: 5 to 7 years

  • Certification or Licensing Preferred: Food Safety
  • Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
  • Age Requirement: At least 21 years of age

Job Responsibilities

  • Interview, select, and train team members
  • Direct and supervise team members' work
  • Evaluate team members' performance for promotions or changes
  • Handle team member issues, including complaints and discipline
  • Plan and assign work tasks
  • Ensure safety and security of team members and store
  • Manage department or store budget and inventory
  • Monitor compliance measures
  • Prioritize safety in all aspects of work
  • Coach the team to achieve store success and uphold standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • Maintain high operational standards
  • Support decision-making through coaching and planning
  • Implement merchandising plans to maximize sales and minimize shrinkage
  • Develop community relationships and promote the store's vision
  • Identify business trends and manage inventory accordingly
  • Schedule staff effectively, manage labor, and delegate tasks
  • Assess staffing needs, participate in hiring, and promote diversity and inclusion
  • Foster professional development and succession planning
  • Provide ongoing coaching and recognition to promote a culture of safety, sales, and service
  • Ensure all staff are trained for safety and customer service excellence
  • Follow work design and problem-solving techniques for performance improvements
  • Maintain store conditions to meet standards and regulations, reporting deficiencies promptly
