Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking an Assistant Manager in Wayne, NJ to blend business strategy with daily store operations and people leadership. You’ll drive sales by analyzing the business, delivering top-notch customer service, and overseeing staffing, visuals, and processes.

You’ll train staff, manage schedules and payroll, and coach a team to embody our brand culture. This role promotes from within and offers growth opportunities within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong customer focus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership ability with coaching and development.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proactive, with strong initiative and accountability.
• Comfort with learning new processes and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform Opening and Closing Routines.
• Supervise salesfloor & stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service & seamless operations.
• Conduct staffing and scheduling operations and payroll management.
• Train and develop the non-management staff.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness, while driving sales.
• Build and maintain visual displays.
• Analyze reporting to inform decision making.
• Protect store assets & perform inventory control.
• Operate Register/Point of Sale systems.
• Fulfill OMNI Channel Orders.
• Represent the Brand and Exemplify Company Culture and Values.
