Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily store and pharmacy operations, optimizing sales, profitability, and asset protection. You will supervise shifts, delegate tasks, manage inventory, and ensure an exceptional customer and patient experience across the store.

The role requires strong leadership, training, and compliance with policies and regulations. You will recruit and develop team members, review KPIs with district leadership and implement action plans to improve performance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Manages the operation of a Walgreen store and pharmacy, including shifts, task delegation and scheduling.
• Keeps financials and cash handling accurate; oversees ledger, invoices, cash reports and time records.
• Plans and implements merchandising, displays, seasonal promotions and pricing to maximize sales.
• Analyzes inventory trends; orders items, maintains stock and minimizes outs/overstock.
• Drives customer experience by greeting, assisting and resolving complaints; models best practices.
• Oversees staff hiring, training, coaching, performance management and discipline when needed.
• Ensures compliance with laws, policies and patient privacy; maintains cleanliness and safety.
