Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an experienced Store Manager/ESM to supervise customer service associates and the front end of the store, with responsibilities spanning pharmacy and retail operations. The role requires leading a store team, improving customer experience, and achieving company deliverables.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with a solid academic record or equivalent requirements as listed.
Demonstrated leadership abilities including professional business ethics, self-motivation, and strong communication skills.
Completion of Store Manager training program (LEAP) or Walgreens Leadership Essentials training; willingness to complete within 12 weeks for ESM start.
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English; flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

Spearheads customer experience by engaging customers and resolving complaints to ensure satisfaction.
Oversees store operations, scheduling, cash handling, inventory, and store upkeep to drive profitability.
Leads recruitment, performance management, and discipline for team members to meet company deliverables.
Analyzes financial and performance data and uses KPIs to implement improvement actions.
Supports pharmacy operations during busy periods as needed.
