Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to laws and policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide proper training for employees; conduct evaluations; identify gaps for coaching or termination.
• Make recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings and events.
• Ensure the store is opened and closed each day as required.
• Open and close the store multiple times per week as needed.
• Evaluate operating statements to identify business trends, expenses and inventory issues.
• Review ordering plan and inventory management to meet in-stock targets.
• Staging, stocking, and storage of merchandise following company processes.
• Present merchandise according to established practices with pricing and signage.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and security controls.
• Ensure cashier accountability and cash control procedures.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized store environment.
• Ensure tools and equipment are available for tasks.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; complete paperwork on time.
