Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees according to laws and company policies; ensures proper staffing.
• Provides training, conducts performance evaluations, identifies gaps and counsels or terminates if needed.
• Makes recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates performance, conduct and safety expectations regularly; coordinates meetings and events to encourage safety, security and policies.
• Ensures the store opens/closes properly; maintains staffing and operational readiness.
• Evaluates operating statements to identify business trends and control opportunities.
• Orders to meet or exceed in-stock targets; reviews ordering plan and inventory issues weekly.
