Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager in Pleasant Hill, MO to lead daily store operations, drive sales, manage staff, and uphold company standards. Qualifications

• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Experience applying cash handling procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide training, conduct performance evaluations, and counsel or terminate as needed.
• Recommend pay rates and advancement opportunities.
• Communicate performance, conduct, and safety expectations regularly.
• Open and close the store at least twice per week.
