Job summary

Kroger in Troy, Missouri, is seeking an experienced Store Leader to drive day-to-day operations and develop store associates to meet customer expectations for shopping ease, variety, freshness, cleanliness, food safety, and regulatory compliance.

You will lead merchandising and operations, work with department leaders to identify opportunities, and develop action plans to improve sales, shrink, and profitability while ensuring safety and regulatory standards across the store.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of experience as an assistant store leader or in a similar role at the same pay level or above.
• Completion of the applicable division's Leadership Essentials Program.

Responsibilities

• Lead store teams in planning, implementing and executing merchandising and operation initiatives to keep the store customer ready.
• Identify opportunities, develop timely solutions and create action plans with leaders and associates.
• Achieve and exceed weekly, period, and annual sales, revenue and profit budgets and other targets.
• Drive cost-effective sales by managing labor, shrink and department profitability.
• Communicate operational updates and financial performance to leadership and staff.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and company policies; promote inclusion and safety.
