Job summary

Urban Outfitters in Asheville, North Carolina, is seeking a Store Manager who will lead sales with an omni‑channel approach and create an engaging, inspiring environment for customers while developing a high‑performing team.

You will collaborate with the Visual Merchandising Manager and leadership to deliver compelling brand experiences, coach staff, manage payroll and scheduling, and uphold safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Passion for UO brand.
• 5+ years store leadership experience.
• Proven record of hiring and developing great talent.
• Strong understanding of merchant process and how it impacts the business.
• Experience in coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet store needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Brand Experience: acts as a brand representative; partners with Visual Merchandising Manager and Leadership Team on creating an engaging visual experience for the UO customer.
• Leadership + Team Management: recruit and interview to build talent, provide timely feedback, onboard new hires, and develop employees.
• Visual + Business Operations: oversee procedures, payroll, scheduling accuracy, and store profitability; lead visual priorities and adherence to policies.
• Communication + Relationships: foster inclusive environment, ensure clear communication, and share store insights with District Manager and Home Office.
