Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking a store manager to lead daily operations, drive performance, and develop a high‑performing team in Wilmington, NC. This role includes a comprehensive 5‑week manager training course, base pay plus commission and bonus opportunities, and a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

You will interview, hire, and coach staff, manage expenses, analyze daily sales, and ensure banking, safety, and legal compliance while maintaining a welcoming, productive store

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to effectively motivate others.
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• This position has a required 5-week manager-training course with performance metrics.
• Maintain store staff by interviewing, hiring, and developing employees
• Create a positive, respectful environment for employees and customers
• Meet self-performance metrics and help develop employees to meet their metrics
• Analyze daily sales information to maximize sales
• Meet banking, safety, operations and legal requirements
• Control expenses: labor, inventory and maintenance
• Assign, manage, and follow up on daily tasks to keep store clean, stocked and organized
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues
