Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.
• Familiarity with cashier accountability and deposit controls.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and stocking according to established practices.
• Manage inventory activities including damages, markdowns, and cash register reports.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Participate in opening/closing activities and store operations.
• Ensure safe deposit of company funds and adherence to cash control procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment and assist in operations when Store Manager is absent.
• Review operating statements to identify trends and opportunities.
