Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Lift up to 55 lbs and frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and manage payroll, scheduling, deposits and receipts.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing store associates.
• Ensure a safe, friendly environment while following company policies.
