Job summary

Save A Lot in Lake Placid, FL is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales growth and profitability, and create a positive shopping experience for customers and a motivating work environment for the team.

You will recruit, train, and develop staff, supervise scheduling and merchandising, manage inventory, and ensure food safety, sanitation and regulatory compliance across the store.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of management experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, coaching and development to their store team members regarding tasks, duties, role requirements and performance standards.
• Creates a positive, safe, and clean store environment for team members and customers where they enjoy working and shopping.
• Recruits talented, highly motivated team members with positive attitudes who possess the skills and behaviors to successfully complete the role requirements.
• Trains, develops, mentors, and coaches all team members to success within their roles today and into the future by upskilling them using best practice tools and techniques.
• Communicates across all stakeholders including store team members, District Managers, Regional Directors, and other field team members.
• Ensures the store operates according to the company’s standards to maximize sales, profits and a world class shopping experience.
• Maintains a high standard of operation for customers including fresh products and proper display and signage.
• Manages inventory levels and ensures quality, freshness, and proper rotation practices.
• Implements and complies with all company policies and procedures including cash handling, audits, sanitation, and safety.
