Job summary

Huck's Market Store Manager is sought for a location in Illinois to oversee daily store operations, drive profitability, and ensure compliant, customer-focused service within company policies and local laws.

You will lead store teams, manage expenses, and coordinate merchandising, security, and maintenance to keep the operation running smoothly, while developing staff and supporting ESOP goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer service to all customers in line with Best In Class standards.
• Help ensure store open/ready for business during all hours and manage customer conflicts using MAKE IT RIGHT.
• Assist in increasing profits by managing expenses and sales to budget and supporting neighborhood marketing.
• Recruit, schedule, and develop associates; communicate with store team, Division Manager, and corporate office.
• Maintain accurate paperwork, inventory controls, cash handling, and deposits per guidelines.
• Treat associates with dignity, ensure breaks, train staff per program, and enforce antiharassment policies.
• Maintain security: protect assets, ensure surveillance and safe shopping environment.
• Oversee merchandising: post promotional signs, follow plan-o-grams, manage stock levels with vendors.
• Maintain store maintenance and safety: keep areas clean, report issues, and follow safety procedures.
