Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a solid academic record, all majors welcome
• High School Diploma/GED and two years of supervisory experience
• Store Manager training program (LEAP) or Walgreens Leadership Essentials training within 12 weeks of ESM start
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours
• Willingness to accept promotion into a Store Manager position, which could require relocation
• Ability to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area

Responsibilities

• Supervise store front-end and pharmacy operations to meet company goals.
• Recruit, hire, and manage performance of team members.
• Coach and develop staff to improve customer experience.
• Manage cash handling and store bookkeeping controls.
• Monitor inventory for front end and pharmacy; execute price changes.
• Ensure compliance with policies and laws; safety of staff.
• Coordinate with Store Manager and District Manager on initiatives.
