Job summary

Kroger is seeking an experienced Store Leader in Morton, IL to oversee daily operations, train and develop associates, and ensure exceptional customer service, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.

You will coach teams, manage staffing and scheduling, control budgeting and costs, and partner with department leaders to achieve sales goals while upholding Kroger's values of respect, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience as an assistant store leader or in another position at the same pay level or above.
• Successful completion of the applicable division's Leadership Essentials Program.

Responsibilities

• Lead store teams in merchandising and operation initiatives to keep the store customer ready.
• Identify opportunities with department leaders and implement timely solutions and action plans.
• Achieve weekly, period, and annual sales, revenue and profit budgets and targets.
• Drive cost-effective sales by reducing shrink and maximizing department contribution.
• Discuss budgets, safety, and financial goals with store leadership.
• Promote inclusion and communicate effectively with associates to meet company standards.
