Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager to lead operations for a Walgreens store, including pharmacy. You will drive customer experience, sales, and profitability by effective merchandising, asset protection, team development, and operational excellence.

You will supervise store and pharmacy activities, manage staff performance and training, and ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and relevant laws. A flexible schedule is required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed RPh as soon as possible given state law requirements, no later than 12 months from Store Manager position start date.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervises store and pharmacy operations, including shift scheduling.
• Manages cash handling, banking, and records.
• Plans merchandising and inventory, orders stock, reduces shrink.
• Leads hiring, training, and performance management.
• Ensures compliance with policies and laws.
