Job summary

Speed Trek is seeking an experienced retail Store Manager to lead a busy store in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will drive sales, ensure best-in-class customer service, and supervise merchandising, signage, pricing, and daily operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of leadership in a retail environment, a passion for customer service, strong people skills, and basic financial and computer literacy. Physical duties include lifting up to 25 lbs and standing during shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a retail environment.
• Passion for customer service with exceptional people skills.
• Basic knowledge of financial management and computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel)

Responsibilities

• Manage resources efficiently to drive business and maximize productivity, meeting all standards of execution for customer service, signage and pricing, and merchandising
• Maintain a high level of engagement and a people development culture; the success of the business is tied to the quality and performance of the team
• Promote and abide by the high standards of GEI, and maintain regulatory and company compliance while upholding the highest standards of safety
• Maintain a disciplined approach to managing, training, and developing your store team in daily work duties and responsibilities; uphold company standards in personal appearance, work ethic, store cleanliness, and customer service
• Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs
• Ability to lift items, bend, and work on your feet during work shifts
• Can-do and team-building attitude in everything you do while working at a GEI store
