Hot Topic is seeking a Store Manager to lead our Williamsburg mall location. You’ll drive sales, recruit and develop a high-energy team, and manage performance to deliver outstanding customer service and a buzz-worthy in-store experience.

You’ll use data and feedback to guide strategy, run promotions on time, and mentor staff. The role requires 1–2 years of store leadership in retail and a passion for pop culture. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail store management experience with team leadership.
• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Retail is fast-changing; you adapt quickly to curveballs.
• Open-minded about pop culture fandoms and music trends.
• Able to navigate the store, merchandise, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Hit the sales plan and comp sales goals.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative team.
• Lead customer engagement and digital/social initiatives.
• Maintain an operational balance of structure, delegation, and customer-first selling.
• Monitor shrink, payroll hours, schedules, and external factors affecting business.
• Communicate trends and customer feedback with leadership and HQ.
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy.
