Job summary

Meijer, a family-owned retailer, seeks a Store Director to lead operations and deliver a premier shopping experience across our Michigan stores. You will drive sales, ensure staffing, and maintain safety and merchandising standards while modeling our values.

You will mentor leaders, analyze financial data, and partner with the community to strengthen the Meijer brand. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent retail experience, plus 3+ years leadership in retail, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent retail experience.
• 5 years of retail/service experience.
• 3 years of leadership experience including management of leaders with direct reports.
• Experience with $40 million minimum in annual sales revenue.
• Ability to receive and maintain licenses required for the store's operations.

Responsibilities

• Use your leadership to maximize sales and maintain fiscal responsibility.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout store operations.
• Mentor and coach all team members and leaders to ensure goals are met and exceeded.
• Ensure the store is properly staffed with well-trained team members and develop existing staff.
• Work to maintain corporate, safety, and regulatory procedures for a safe work environment.
• Cultivate relationships in the local community to support the Meijer brand.
