Job summary

Quest Food Management Services is seeking a Retail Manager to lead daily store operations at University of Indianapolis in Indianapolis, IN. You will drive customer experience, supervise staff, manage inventory, and implement sales initiatives to meet targets.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in retail management, a high school diploma or equivalent (a bachelor’s degree is preferred), and strong skills in leadership, communication, and POS systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of retail management or supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with POS systems and retail management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and supervise store staff to maintain high levels of customer service and operational excellence.
• Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and stock management to ensure product availability and minimize shrinkage.
• Develop and execute sales strategies and promotional activities to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Monitor financial performance by analyzing sales reports, controlling expenses, and managing budgets effectively.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and retail industry standards.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and present regular reports on store performance to senior management.
