Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 4-year degree in Business or Retail Management preferred.
• 2+ years of management and supervisory experience plus 3 years retail sales experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills.
• Proven customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Sales and goal oriented; must be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed financial goals focusing on sales and profitability.
• Process billing, invoices and documents to ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Drive sales through staff development, coaching, and role modeling.
• Manage all buys to maintain productivity and profitability.
• Promote a culture of positive customer service every day.
• Maintain merchandise and visual presentation standards daily.
• Recruit, hire and train associates, create staffing plans, and evaluate performance.
• Oversee inventory functions, receiving, ticketing, and back stocking as needed.
• Establish and maintain controls, deposits, and auditing, reporting discrepancies or theft.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
