Job summary

Save A Lot in Indianapolis, IN seeks an experienced Store Manager to lead day-to-day operations, drive sales and profitability, and create an engaging work environment for the team.

You will recruit, train, and coach staff; ensure food safety, inventory control, and adherence to company policies; and collaborate with vendors to deliver a best-in-class shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of management experience.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Effective oral and written communications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete administrative paperwork promptly.
• Proficient in planning and analytical skills (P&L, budgeting).
• Strong time management, planning & organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, coaching and development to store team members.
• Creates a positive, safe, and clean store environment for team members and customers.
• Recruits talented, motivated team members and uses established processes to hire.
• Trains, mentors, and coaches all team members for today and the future.
• Maintains clear communication with District Managers, Regional Directors, and field teams.
• Ensures store operations adhere to company standards to maximize sales and profits.
• Manages inventory levels with focus on quality, freshness and rotation.
• Follows all company policies and procedures including cash handling, sanitation and loss prevention.
• Obtains Food Safety Certification as required by policy and local regulations.
• Protects company property, funds and merchandise.
• Coordinates with DSD vendors and enforces vendor policies.
• Supports initiatives to become a Great Place to Work and acts as a trusted leader.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
