Job summary

You will open/close the store, manage payroll, control shrink, analyze sales trends, and ensure compliance with company policies and federal laws while delivering excellent store performance. Strong leadership and coaching are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Understanding of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to laws and company policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide proper training, conduct performance evaluations, identify gaps for coaching or termination if needed.
• Open/close the store and manage cash/shift duties; maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Evaluate operating statements to identify trends, control expenses, and review inventory issues weekly.
