Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to oversee all aspects of store operations and lead a team to deliver sales and profit results. The role focuses on staffing, training, merchandising execution, and payroll controls in a fast-paced retail environment.

The Store Manager will direct the stockroom, front end, and sales floor activities, drive adherence to company standards, and develop a high-performing team through coaching and accountability.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment.
• Must maintain a high level of Customer service.
• Must demonstrate the ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to train, coach and develop Associates at all levels.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks necessary to accomplish goals, develop a schedule to complete tasks and execute to achieve results.
• Fluency in English.
• Must exercise considerable independent judgement and discretion.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the Store's operations to meet Company standards and best practices.
• Staff, trains and develops leadership team to deliver sales and profit results.
• Manage Stockroom, Front End, and Sales Floor operations to ensure timely merchandise movement.
• Monitor store reports to evaluate expenses and performance, and adjust as needed.
• Schedule Associates to meet business objectives and control payroll hours.
• Represent the Ross brand with a safe, customer-focused shopping environment.
