Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Leesville, LA to direct facility operations, merchandising and strategic initiatives.

You will supervise and develop management and hourly associates, recruit and retain talent, and drive sales, profitability and customer service in a high-turnover market. You will oversee budgeting, planning and performance evaluations, while maintaining adherence to company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years general management experience, including financial accountability and 4 years supervising 50+ nonexempt and 5+ exempt associates.
• For facilities that sell firearms or ammunition, background and eligibility checks may apply.
• Candidates should have experience in high-volume, competitive retail environments and strong leadership.
• Effective succession planning, mentoring and performance management are required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and develop the management team and hourly associates across facility operations, merchandising and company direction.
• Drive sales and profit goals, control expenses, and oversee budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards and safety requirements; implement action plans to address deficiencies.
• Lead community outreach and internal talent development, including Academy training and succession planning.
