Job summary

Walmart in Fargo, ND is seeking a Store Manager to lead facility operations, merchandising and strategic direction. You will supervise a large, diverse team and drive sales, cost control and customer satisfaction while implementing company programs and community initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership, financial accountability, and experience managing 50+ associates in a high-volume store, including mentoring, hiring, and evaluating performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 4+ years of management experience including supervision of 50+ associates and 5 exempt staff.
• Experience in financial accountability, performance mentoring, hiring and termination processes.
• Experience guiding large teams in a high-volume retail environment.
• For firearms facilities, CBC/background checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Directs management and hourly associates in facility operations and merchandising.
• Drives financial performance, budgeting, expense control and margin improvement.
• Leads Academy training and ensures store standards are met across the organization.
• Develops community relations and engages stakeholders in supported markets.
