Job summary

Goodwill South Florida TEP LLC in Florida seeks a Store Manager to lead the operation of a retail location, motivate staff, and drive sales while ensuring compliance with Goodwill policies.

You will oversee inventory control, merchandising, opening and closing procedures, training, and customer service excellence, while managing a team and ensuring safety and financial controls. This role requires strong leadership and weekend availability; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent, or six months to one year of related experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must pass a background test and a drug test.
• English required; Spanish language skills a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels and manage rotation, pricing, and selling.
• Attractively display merchandise to create a welcoming shopping environment.
• Keep the store clean and ready for opening each day.
• Train and coach staff, delegate duties, and monitor performance.
• Provide courteous service to customers and donors, addressing needs and complaints.
• Lead merchandising planning to maximize sales and achieve goals.
• Oversee cash handling, deposits, and daily reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety procedures.
• Supervise 2–5 subordinate supervisors and 5–30 employees.
