The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Rogers, AR to foster an inclusive, supportive environment and empower a large team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will drive store performance, recruit and train Associates, and implement plans to meet sales and efficiency targets. Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years of retail leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to mentor others in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of retail leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and empower a large team.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by supporting sales results, managing expenses and overseeing key operations including merchandising, backroom, frontline, cash office, customer service, markdowns, scheduling, shipping and receiving, with focus on minimizing shrink and damages.
• Attract, recruit and cultivate top talent by providing comprehensive training and ongoing development for Associates; serve as mentor and role model.
• Communicate and implement action plans for projects, targets, company initiatives and store changes; provide input on succession planning.
• Implement strategies to meet sales, expense and customer service targets; coordinate loss prevention and operational programs and improve store layout and efficiency.
