Job summary

TJX is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to foster an inclusive environment and empower the team to deliver memorable experiences for customers. You will lead in a fast-paced retail setting, focusing on sales, operations, training, and customer service.

With at least 2 years of retail leadership, you will mentor Associates, manage store activities, and implement initiatives to drive performance while upholding company standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead and empower a large team.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in store operations, customer service, merchandising and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by supporting sales results, managing expenses, and overseeing merchandising, backroom, frontline, cash office, customer service, markdowns, scheduling, shipping and receiving.
• Attract, recruit, and cultivate top talent; provide training and ongoing development for Associates.
• Communicate and implement action plans for projects, targets, company initiatives, and store changes.
• Implement strategies to meet sales, expense and customer service targets; coordinate loss prevention and improve store layout and efficiency.
