Staples in Boston is seeking a General Manager to lead a collaborative, customer-focused store culture. You will drive merchandise sales, print and marketing services, and the small business portfolio while building community relationships.

You will develop your team, coach managers, and deliver operational excellence, ensuring profitable YOY results and flawless execution. Previous retail leadership and a track record of coaching and results are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year progressively responsible store management experience in retail.
• Store operations experience with analysis, planning, financial acumen and driving results.
• Experience creating a customer-centric environment with total solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership in community, customer service, sales and team development.
• Lead merchandise sales, print & marketing services and retail operations.
• Drive profitable sales and margin while reducing variability and improving YoY performance.
• Coach managers and supervisors to create a consultative selling culture and total solutions.
• Oversee store operations and ensure flawless execution of operational excellence.
