Staples, Inc. seeks a General Manager to lead a store with a focus on community engagement, customer service, and team development. You will drive sales across merchandise, print & marketing services, and the business-to-business network, while upholding Staples values.

The role requires building a consultative selling culture, coaching leaders, and delivering operational excellence to achieve profitable YOY growth.

Qualifications

• 1+ year progressively responsible store management experience in a retail environment as a General/Store Manager.
• Store Operations experience with analysis, planning, financial acumen and driving results.
• Experience creating a customer centric environment and working in a consultative selling environment that provides customers a total solution.
• Experience developing a team in operational excellence to drive profitable YOY sales and margins.
• Ability to lift/move materials in the 10-50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously.
