Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Store Manager to lead and develop a team at the WM Supercenter. This full-time role requires hands-on leadership, customer service excellence, and accountability for store performance.

You will manage staffing, budgets, merchandising, and operations while driving sales and a high-quality customer experience. Shifts may vary and compensation is $31.25-$38.46/hour.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by teaching and listening, touring stores and providing feedback.
• Drives store performance by reviewing budgets, merchandising, inventory flow and operating processes.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates and fosters a belonging mindset.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and supports ethics and integrity in everyday operations.
