Job summary

Walmart is seeking a store leader in Tempe, AZ to develop high-performing teams, coach associates, and drive exceptional customer service. You will implement store initiatives, manage staffing, and support community outreach while upholding Walmart's standards of ethics and integrity.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by training, listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback.
• Models exceptional customer service and supports store initiatives and Open Door Policy.
• Drives store financial performance by reviewing P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
• Supervises hourly associates, hires, trains, mentors, assigns duties, and promotes a belonging mindset.
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures and promotes ethics and integrity.
