Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead all aspects of store operations. You will recruit, train and develop the leadership team, ensure daily execution of sales, service and visual standards, and drive profitable results while maintaining an easy-to-shop environment.

As a key leader, you will analyze store performance, optimize staffing, manage payroll within budget, and uphold safety and loss prevention practices, partnering with district leadership to meet company goals.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to train, coach and develop Associates at all levels.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, develop schedules, and execute to results.
• Exercising independent judgement and discretion.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Assistant Store Manager, Area Supervisors and all Retail Associates.
• Leads store operations to achieve sales and profitability while maintaining brand standards.
• Analyzes store performance and schedules staff to meet objectives.
• Ensures compliance with safety, loss prevention, and company policies.
• Manages payroll and expenses within budget.
